I’m not going to get into the “reverse-racism” debate, but come on. Its 2013. While a lot of people might not consider “cracker” to be a slur, its just…tacky. And tactless. And tasteless. :| For real.
Can we have an intelligent discussion on race and racial politics and discrimination without stooping to name-calling, finger-pointing, and mudslinging?
Can we act like the adults we want to be treated as instead of regressing to 2nd grade and using issues as a chance to “get them” ?

I hate “Us vs Them” mentalities because its divisive. Whereas intersectionality is absolutely a thing, this falls under the “COMMON SENSE/HOW TO BE A DECENT PERSON” banner.
- You hate it when “they” generalize. So dont do it.

- You “demand” respect for being “oppressed”, scream for your viewpoint to be heard, yet what you fail to realize is that there’s a time for pettiness and there’s a time to actually accomplish something. Which one do we feel like doing today? Because when you use language like that you essentially invalidate everything you have said, will say, and want to say from that moment onward: under the “ignorant assbutt” clause.
